A Look Inside The Newly Renovated Freiberg Germany Temple

The temple was originally dedicated on June 29, 1985, by President Gordon B. Hinckley. The temple was the first LDS Temple built in a Communist nation (German Democratic Republic or East Germany) and the first in Germany.

The LDS Church announced that the temple will be renovated on February 9, 2015. The Open House of the temple will begin will begin August 12 and continue through August 27 and rededication on September 4.
