Following the public open house, the temple will be formally dedicated on Sunday, October 16. The dedication will be preceded by a cultural celebration featuring music and dance by the youth of the Church, to be held on the evening of Saturday, October 15, at the Hughes Stadium on the campus of Colorado State University. There will be reserved seating at the cultural celebration for media.
The temple is located at 2180 Majestic Drive in Fort Collins, on the corner of Trilby Road and Timberline Road.
The Fort Collins Temple will be the second temple in Colorado and the 153rd operating temple worldwide. The temple will serve more than 44,000 Church members in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming.
The 42,000-square-foot temple features art glass with a mountain flora motif reminiscent of Rocky Mountain vegetation.
