Disney Channel’s “Andi Mack,” a comedy that shows the ongoing drama of a young girl, recently got renewed for its second season. And star Asher Angel, who portrays Jonah Beck, the crush of the titular character Andi (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), spoke with The Park Recordabout his experiences with the show.
Asher said he can relate to his character, which means he often acts like himself with the role.
“Sometimes it’s funny because everything that happens in our script sometimes follows what happens in real life,” he said.
