A fixed and eternal degree of glory accompanies a person’s resurrection. Once resurrected, a person cannot advance to a higher degree of glory.
The degree of glory by which, and into which, a person is quickened to immortality becomes the eternal inheritance of the individual, and is based on the degree of righteousness or wickedness with which he exercised his agency up to the end of his appointed time of probation.
See Doctrine and Covenants 76:17-119 and 88:1-141.
