Former Relief Society General President Dies at age 86

Known for being the Relief Society General President who focused her ministry in helping others to ‘come unto Christ,’ sister Barbara Ann Woodhead Winde died on June 25 ate age 86.

Sister Barbara Ann Woodhead Winder was sustained as the Relief Society General President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints April 7, 1984. She served as the ​11th Relief Society general president for the Church and later served as assistant matron of the Jordan River Utah Temple and as matron of the Nauvoo Illinois Temple.
