Asia's Youth Prepare for Regionwide FSY Conference in Bangkok

Youth across Asia are preparing for a spiritual summit unlike any other. With anticipation mounting and excitement growing, the For the Strength of Youth (FSY) Asia Conference is set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, drawing Latter-day Saint teens from dozens of countries across the region.

In a heartfelt letter sent ahead of the event, the session’s directing couple—Brother and Sister Boland—extended a warm invitation to youth from every corner of Asia to come together for a week of faith, connection, and personal transformation.

“As your Session Directing Couple, we are thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation… for an unforgettable FSY Conference,” the Bolands wrote. “This is more than a conference, this is a spiritual adventure.”

FSY conferences are part of a global effort by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to empower and inspire youth ages 14 to 18 through gospel-centered experiences. The Asia-wide gathering marks one of the largest of its kind in the region, uniting young members from select Asian countries.

The Bolands’ message, written with enthusiasm and spiritual urgency, framed the upcoming event as both a celebration of faith and a call to action. Citing Church President Russell M. Nelson’s praise for today’s generation—“Our youth are among the best the Lord has ever sent”—the couple encouraged participants to seize the moment to grow closer to Christ and one another.
