Content Use Guidelines for Content Creators

1. Purpose
Moroni Channel encourages the sharing of its content to make information, media, and educational resources widely accessible. These guidelines provide content creators with clear instructions on how to use Moroni Channel materials legally and ethically, while respecting the rights of our journalists, contributors, and volunteers.

2. Permitted Use
Content from Moroni Channel may be:

  • Shared, embedded, or reposted for non-commercial purposes, including educational, church-related, and personal uses;

  • Quoted or referenced in critical reviews or commentary, provided attribution is given; and

  • Used in accordance with these guidelines and the Moroni Channel Terms of Use.

3. Attribution Requirements
When using Moroni Channel content, proper credit must always be provided. This includes:

  • Naming Moroni Channel as the source;

  • Crediting the original journalist, photographer, or contributor when applicable; and

  • Leaving all logos, watermarks, or identifying marks intact.

Attribution should be clear and visible wherever the content appears. Failure to provide proper credit is considered a violation of these guidelines and may be subject to enforcement under copyright law.

4. Prohibited Modifications
Content may not be altered, cropped, or modified in any way that removes or obscures logos, watermarks, or other identifying marks. This includes:

  • Editing images or videos to remove branding;

  • Changing headlines, captions, or attributions; and

  • Combining Moroni Channel content with other materials in a way that misrepresents its source or intent.

Any modifications must be approved in writing by Moroni Channel Administration.

5. Non-Commercial Use
The use of Moroni Channel content is encouraged for non-commercial purposes only, unless express written permission is obtained for commercial use. Non-commercial uses include:

  • Personal or educational sharing;

  • Church-related or nonprofit use;

  • Informational or research purposes.

6. Systematic Data Collection
Automated collection, scraping, or mass downloading of Moroni Channel content is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing.

7. Volunteer Contributions
Content submitted by Moroni Channel volunteers is subject to the same guidelines. Volunteers retain moral rights to their work and must not authorize use that conflicts with these guidelines without approval.

8. Requesting Permission
For uses beyond these guidelines, including commercial purposes, derivative works, or adaptations, content creators must request prior written authorization from Moroni Channel. Permission requests should include:

10. Reservation of Rights
All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Moroni Channel retains the right to enforce these guidelines and copyright protections under applicable law.

11. Acknowledgment of Guidelines
By using Moroni Channel content, content creators acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these guidelines. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in revocation of permission to use content and potential legal action.
