During the Sunday afternoon session, Henry B. Eyring announced the passing of the apostle. Elder D. Hales died at arround 12 p.m. on Sunday in the hospital.
“We will miss him. His wisdom and goodness have blessed our lives for many years. We express our love to his sweet wife and caregiver, Mary, and extend our heartfelt condolences to the family,” said President Eyring
The church will further announce details regarding funeral arrangements.
