LDS Church Announced 6 New Stakes In Prague, Utah, Bolivia, Nigeria, Arizona, And In Sydney

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently announced 6 new stakes in Prague, Utah, Bolivia, Nigeria, Arizona and in Sydney. The following information are released by the LDS Church

PRAGUE CZECH REPUBLIC STAKE (May 15, 2016): President—Martin Pilka, 50, self-employed/developer; wife, Alena Lysonková Pilková. Counselors—Michal Hanzal, 34, interpreter, LDS Church; wife, Bohdana Kašáková Hanzalová. Roman Cadeni, 45, administration assistant, LDS Church; wife, Jarmila Florianora Cadeni.A new stake has been created from the Saratoga Springs Utah Crossroads Stake. The Saratoga Springs Utah Mount Saratoga Stake, which consists of the Riverside 1st, Riverside 2nd, Saratoga Springs 7th, Saratoga Springs 10th, Sunrise Meadows 1st, Sunrise Meadows 2nd, Sunrise Meadows 3rd, and Sunset Haven Wards, was created by Elder Marcus B. Nash, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Alin Spannaus, an Area Seventy.

SARATOGA SPRINGS UTAH MOUNT SARATOGA STAKE (May 15, 2016): President—Kenneth Taylor Gibby, 50, SVP/CIO, Utah Community Credit Union; wife, Lisa Lorrayne Tracy Gibby. Counselors—Randy Howard Powell, 42, chief financial officer, Meta Source; wife, Shauna Margaret Lifferth Powell. Matthew Verne Toone, 33, president, MVT Products; wife, Heather Tingey Toone.

A new stake has been created from the Tarija Bolivia Stake. The Tarija Bolivia Tabladita Stake, which consists of the Central, Cuatro de Julio, Panamericano, Senac, and Tabladita Wards, was created by Elder Juan A. Uceda, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Mathias Held, an Area Seventy.

TARIJA BOLIVIA TABLADITA STAKE (May 15, 2016): President—Nelson Dario Landivar Vallejos, 39, business representative; wife, Carmen Mamani Gonzales. Counselors—Adalid Condor Sanchez, 35, technology manager; wife, Elisabeth Maria Vargas Peña. Yamil Delgado Olguera, 35, architect; wife, Lizeth Daniela Gutierrez Copa.

A new stake has been created from the Ikot Ekpene Nigeria District. The Ikot Ekpene Nigeria Stake, which consists of the Abak Road, Abia Okpo Road, Ikot Ekpene, Ikot Inyang, Ikot Odon, Ikot Otu, and Ikpe Mbak Eyop Branches, was created by Elder LeGrand R. Curtis Jr., a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Declan O. Madu, an Area Seventy.

IKOT EKPENE NIGERIA STAKE (May 15, 2016): President—Kufre Okoro Etim, 37, accountant; wife, Uduak Sylvanus Etim. Counselors—John Okon Tom, 47, lecturer, Imo State University; wife, Grace John Akuchi Tom. God’sgift Okon Antai, 31, self-employed; wife, Inemesit God’sgift Antai.

A new stake has been created from the Apache Junction Arizona and the Mesa Arizona Salt River Stakes. The Mesa Arizona Flatiron Stake, which consists of the Adobe Branch and the Boulder Mountain, Ironwood, Ocotillo, Signal Butte 1st, and Twin Knolls Wards, was created by Elder W. Craig Zwick, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Karl M. Tilleman, an Area Seventy.

MESA ARIZONA FLATIRON STAKE (May 1, 2016): President—Bradley E. Larson, 61, operations manager, Otto Trucking Inc.; wife, Beverly Brown Larson. Counselors—James Neil MacKinlay, 46, attorney; wife, Katina Lorraine Jeppsen MacKinlay. Ryan Scott Boyer, 38, lawyer; wife, Julie Arlene Wheeler Boyer.
A new stake has been created from the Liverpool Australia and the Sydney Australia Fairfield Stakes. The Sydney Australia Prairiewood Stake, which consists of the Green Valley 1st, Green Valley 2nd, Prairiewood 1st, Prairiewood 3rd, and Prairiewood 4th Wards, was created by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Johnny L. Leota, an Area Seventy.
