Latter-day Saint U.S. Senator, Mitt Romney, posted on Facebook his stance advocating to count every vote.
“Counting every vote is at the heart of democracy. That process is often long and, for those running, frustrating,” the senator said.
“The votes will be counted. If there are irregularities alleged, they will be investigated and ultimately resolved in the courts. Have faith in democracy, in our Constitution, and in the American people.”
As of writing, there is no declared winner in the 2020 US elections. Former Vice President Joe Biden is leading the race with 264 projected electoral votes while incumbent President Donald Trump has 214 projected electoral votes according to the Associated Press.
