The Lights Of The Inner Man

As the real sun, moon, and stars of the heavens give of their light to the earth, that we may see. These same lights are placed in the inner man, so as to give of their lights, to direct and lead the outer or natural man. The natural man then grows and matures, mortifying the deeds of the flesh, becoming a servant, therefore changes and becomes harmonized and in likeness, with the inner or spiritual man, the master.

The sun with its brightness is compared to the love of God, the moon that shines forth represents faith and charity, and the stars that give of their light signifies the knowledges of good and truth, all giving of their lights to the natural man that we may be led and directed as to spiritually see. Let our lights, continually so shine, in our inner man so as to show the outer or natural man all things needed for to become a celestial man.
