The Canadian Saints are preparing their chapels for the new normal of Sabbath worship.
One chapel, in particular, was seen to add an extra layer of protection. They installed a shield to the podium as another protective measure to prevent the possible transmission of droplets coming from the speakers. Although most people begin sitting in the third row, they still want to protect the Saints by going the extra mile.
According to Jerry Chong, the person who took the photo, the mandarin branch has about 55 active members where 24 of them attended the physical sacrament meeting last Sunday. The meeting was also broadcasted on Zoom for members who wanted to attend online.
Members in the branch still wear masks at all times and even when speaking from the podium, as required by the local government.
The Saints are taught to be good citizens and to always follow local health guidelines as we fight COVID-19 together.
