OSAC Chile Day held alongside FIDAE
As part of the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE)—the largest aerospace, defense, and security exhibition in Latin America—the OSAC Chile Day was held, bringing together senior government officials, military leaders, law enforcement representatives, and private sector actors from several countries.
The event, organized by Chile’s chapter of the Overseas Security Advisory Council, took place at Santiago’s Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. Discussions focused on corporate security challenges in Latin America, as well as the exchange of experiences and emerging trends in regional security.
FIDAE, the region’s leading aerospace and defense exhibition, provided the broader framework for the gathering, reinforcing its role as a hub for international cooperation and technological exchange.

Field experience and industry engagement
As part of the program, participants took part in field activities that included visits to international company exhibitions—particularly U.S.-based firms—showcasing technologies applied to national security. Attendees also toured military aircraft as part of guided site visits.
These experiences offered participants insight into recent technological advancements while strengthening trust and collaboration between industry representatives, government authorities, and security experts.
Institutional presence and international outreach
Representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in the high-level forum, reflecting an increasing level of institutional engagement in spaces of cooperation and dialogue.
During the event, interactions with international authorities included meetings with diplomatic representatives such as U.S. Ambassador Brandon Judd. These engagements formed part of broader efforts to strengthen institutional relationships in strategic environments.
The dialogues were presented as contributing to openness, recognition, and cooperation, reinforcing relationships that may support future opportunities for joint work in service of society.
