The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, through the Ventanilla Stake in Peru, participated in a blood donation campaign in coordination with Hospital Alberto Sabogal Sologuren – EsSalud in Ventanilla. The activity was held on April 25 as part of an initiative aimed at ensuring the availability of safe blood for patients requiring transfusions in surgeries, emergencies, and specialized treatments.
During the campaign, 37 people were evaluated and 22 successfully donated blood. Members of the Church, volunteers, and health professionals took part in the effort, providing medical screening, guidance, and support throughout the donation process.
The initiative sought to promote voluntary and sustained blood donation while strengthening community participation and public health support in the Ventanilla area.
