Members of the Busan Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently participated in a 14-day personal spiritual practice program titled “The Wind of Change, The New Beginning”, designed to deepen faith, strengthen community connections, and encourage daily gospel-centered service.

Each participant received a daily scroll containing assignments focused on missionary work, temple service, and community outreach. Delivered in a shopping bag, the scrolls guided members to engage with neighbors, greet and assist fellow church members, and reflect on practical ways to live their faith each day. Leaders said the program was intended to help members translate belief into action and experience the gospel in everyday life.

The program culminated in a celebratory event, “Night on the Road”, held at Busan Ward on February 28. The evening featured cultural performances, including Nanta drum routines, musical instrument performances, solo singing, and sungchang presentations, all prepared by members. Attendees shared testimonies of personal growth, reflecting on the impact of consistent practice and service over the two weeks.

Commemorative badges were awarded to those who completed all 14 days, symbolizing both spiritual growth and the commitment to integrating faith into daily life. Many participants described the experience as transformative, saying it helped them feel closer to God, strengthened their sense of community, and added joy to living the gospel in practical ways.

Church leaders in Busan emphasized that “The Wind of Change, The New Beginning” went beyond a program—it was a chance for members to engage with their faith actively, support one another, and foster a sense of shared purpose. Plans are already underway for continued activities to encourage service, missionary work, and community engagement throughout the year.

The initiative is part of broader efforts by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to cultivate faith-based service and spiritual growth, reinforcing the value of religious community and everyday acts of devotion.
