A public open-house for the Meridian Idaho Temple has been announced by the First Presidency. The open house will be held from Saturday, October 21, 2017, through Saturday, November 11, excluding Sundays  To make a free reservation for the open house, visit templeopenhouse.lds.org or call 1-855-537-2000.

​The dedication will be preceded by a cultural celebration featuring music and dance by the local youth of the Church, to be held on the evening of Saturday, November 18, 2017. Tours will consist of a 10-minute video presentation followed by a 40-minute walking tour through the temple. Following the public open house, the temple will be formally dedicated on Sunday, November 19, in three sessions.

According to Mormon Newsroom the temple is located at 7345 North Linder Road.

The Meridian Idaho Temple will be the 5th temple built in Idaho along with Idaho Falls Idaho Temple, Boise Idaho Temple, Rexburg Idaho Temple and Twin Falls Idaho Temple. The temple will also be the 158th operating temple around the world. It will serve nearly 60,000 church members in 63 congregations and 16 stakes in the greater Boise area.
