Day 2 of the 2025 Asia Regional YSA Conference took participants beyond Hilton Hotel and into the heart of Bangkok, as hundreds of young adults engage with the city’s culture, locals, food, and history.
The afternoon activity, known as the “Bangkok Snapic Challenge,” sent YSAs to ICONSIAM, one of the city’s busiest cultural and commercial hubs. Participants were tasked with completing a series of interactive missions, navigating the complex, sampling local cuisine at Sook Siam, and collaborating in teams. The challenge was designed to help YSAs connect with one another while experiencing a side of Bangkok many were visiting for the first time.

This format mirrors the approach used at the Tokyo YSA Conference, where attendees were sent across the city to find specific landmarks and items, turning the entire city into an interactive learning space. In both cases, rather than keeping participants confined to a single venue, organizers provided structured activities that allowed them to explore, interact, and build friendships through shared real-world experiences.
Earlier in the day, participants attended workshops focused on personal growth and faith-based life planning. Topics included confidence in divine identity, emotional resilience, career development, and preparing for future family life.

The day concluded with a cultural performance featuring traditional Thai dance, followed by a hands-on segment where YSAs were taught the steps and joined in a group social dance. The outdoor challenge and cultural activities were key in helping participants build meaningful relationships and engage more fully with the setting of the conference.
