METRO MANILA — As the country’s COVID-19 cases hit the 30,000 mark, the humanitarian arm of the Church, Latter-day Saint Charities, continues to donate to the government for COVID-19 assistance.
According to the Church public affairs, an additional 400 boxes of PPE were loaded aboard the Philippine Navy Ship bound for Iloilo and Cebu.
The donation was made in coordination with the Philippine Navy Naval Reserve Command Multi-Sectoral Linkaging Committee against COVID-19, which will be donated to the Naval Reserve Center in Eastern and Western Visayas, LGU’s of Cebu City, Samar Negros Occidental (Dumaguete), Capiz, Iloilo Province, Iloilo City, and to the Office of the Presidential Assistance to the Visayas.
