Earthen Vessels with the Treasure Within

We are conjoined to Christ, for Christ with His light is within our immost man, and He has put within us this treasure, a treasure within our corruptible earthen vessel. We have a partnership and are connection to him. This light of Christ brings with it the warmth of love, and if received compels us to come unto Him, while the light teaches us the truths, on how to do travel this straight and narrow path, that leads back to Him and the giving of His bountiful blessings. These truths of faith are association with the power of the great Atonement of our dear Savior and therefore we are urged even compelled to love him in return. Of course we do this by following Him and His charge, commandments, statutes, and laws, yea, even His ordinances and covenants and all things that proceedeth forth out of His mouth. Yet we may deflect, block, and suffocate these truths by our harden hearts or stiffen necks. Oh, the Own of Man. Awake and arise and stand in the light and warmth of the day and not to falter or fall in the darkness and cold of the night.

2 Cor. 4: 6 – 7
“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

2 Cor. 4: 16 – 18
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish,yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us afar more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
